Used to be called The Pig on The Wall bar and restaurant

The sad thing is,I loved having a pint here...maybe I should have used it more

This leads nicely on to today..a lovely warm 26 degree day...been waiting to go in here for years

After the Bed and Breakfast,the hotel was called The Moormead Hotel,then after some years it became The Villiers finally becoming The Ivy Hotel for obvious reasons.

I have had several great meals here about 20 years ago and had the odd pint in recent years.

My Mum worked here in 1996 making the beds and cleaning the rooms.This was the main entrance into the reception area.
