Formerly Plessey`s,the factory was known then primarily as a manufacturer of radio components and opened its factory in Kembrey Street, Gorse Hill, in 1940. My Father started work here in the early 1960`s and stayed with them until his retirement in 1996 when the factory was called Kembrey Engineering.All the following photographs were taken by him and are primarily ones taken socially around the time of his retirement.
