Located at Haylers End,this incinerator was built around 1980 to burn household waste from the surrounding area,however due to public protest regarding pollution,it was closed in the early 1990`s.In 2007,it was sold by the council and to date is the subject of much debate as to it`s future use..one plan was to build houses but this was turned down.Some have even said a new Incinerator could be built on the site.
