Gaston Marbaix Manufacturing,Basingstoke 2014.

Very derelict factory coupled with 4 story office block.History is patchy but I found out that Gaston E Marbaix started out in 1915 making machinery for engineering.According to some info I found,the company went receivership in 2006,but a company called Platons took over the buildings but they at some stage moved to the Viables estate in Basingstoke.In 2009,two teenagers were suspected of starting a major fire up in the roof tanks.Visited February.

A bit of graff and tagging but it makes the place come alive somewhat

Absolutely nothing remains from Gastons time here
I added a little colour to bring it all to life
This one has been altered a little too

Ok,its not for everyone but it makes a rather boring place look a bit more interesting
