Formerly a French bastion,it was added to by the Germans during WW2 and known as Wn 58 Fanny Bastion.The site was listed as having the following buildings...4x Kleinststände, Vf58c, R600b 3,7cm Pak (b), 5cm KwK L/42.
We visited on a cold and windy April day but for me,I really enjoyed seeing these hulks sitting among the park where members of the public walk their dogs probably totally unaware of quite what these buildings were once used for.
